Detailed 5-Day East Java Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in East Java & Transfer to Bromo Area
Arrive in Surabaya or Malang and travel by private vehicle to the Mount Bromo area. Check in to hotel and enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere.
Day 2 – Mount Bromo Sunrise Experience
Early morning jeep ride to Mount Bromo sunrise viewpoint, followed by a walk to the crater rim. After breakfast, continue overland journey toward East Java’s southern region.
Day 3 – Transfer to Banyuwangi & Rest
Travel across East Java’s scenic countryside, passing plantations and local villages en route to Banyuwangi. Evening at leisure before the midnight Ijen trek.
Day 4 – Ijen Crater Blue Fire & Sukamade
Midnight departure for a guided hike to Ijen Crater to witness the blue fire and sunrise. After descending, continue toward Sukamade via forest and coastal tracks. Overnight near Sukamade.
Day 5 – Sukamade Turtle Conservation & Departure
