DAY 1: Arrival in Jakarta – Indonesia's Dynamic Capital

Arrive at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), Jakarta. Transfer to your hotel, the Erian Hotel.
Independent exploration of Jakarta.
Consider visiting historical sites, markets, or enjoying the city’s culinary scene.

DAY 2: Jakarta City Tour & Transfer to Bandung – Colonial History & Volcanic Scenery

Guided city tour of Jakarta, including the former Batavia area (colonial remnants) and Sunda Kelapa Harbour.
Transfer to Bandung (approx. 2.5-3 hours).
Enjoy the scenic drive through volcanic landscapes and tea plantations.Optional Angklung performance (traditional bamboo music). Check into the Arion Suite Hotel.

DAY 3: High-Speed Rail to Yogyakarta – Ancient Ruins & Cultural Performances

Take the high-speed train from Bandung to Yogyakarta (approx. 3-4 hours). Enjoy the scenic views.
Upon arrival in Yogyakarta, choose between a guided cycling tour or attending a Ramayana dance performance. Check into the KJ Hotel Yogyakarta.

DAY 4: Prambanan Temple – Majestic Hindu Sanctuary

Visit Prambanan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring the extensive Hindu temple complex.
Free time to explore Yogyakarta independently. Visit local markets, art galleries, or relax.

Day 5: Borobudur Temple – Buddhist Masterpiece

DAY 6: Journey to Ngadas – Homestay in the Bromo Region

Scenic drive across Java’s agricultural heartland to Ngadas, a village near Mount Bromo.Check into your Ngadas Homestay. Experience local culture with a community-supported homestay

Day 7: Mount Bromo Sunrise Trek & Malang Transfer – Volcanic Majesty & Cultural Immersion

Very Early Morning (approx. 03:00 AM) Jeep transfer to a viewpoint for the Mount Bromo sunrise. Hike to the crater rim (optional). Observe local Tenggerese people making offerings.
Return to Ngadas for lunch.
Enjoy a guided walk through the village, learning about local life. Transfer to Malang.

DAY 8: Flight to Bali – Sanur Beach Relaxation

Transfer to Surabaya Airport (SUB). Take a short flight to Denpasar, Bali. Transfer to Sanur.
Relax on Sanur Beach. Enjoy the sunset.

Day 9: Departure from Sanur

Enjoy breakfast. Depart from Sanur at your leisure.

Fantastic trip on the volcanoes of Java!

Great experience with JavaIndo Ecotourism. We booked the Bromo-Ijen tour from Yogyakarta, then transfer to Bali (Ubud). Wisnu is very facilitating, very friendly and organized a fantastic stay. Our driver (Jojo) and our guides (Han and Nurul) were great. Special mention for Nurul who took us in good spirits to the summit of Ijen in the middle of the night to watch the sunrise. "Landscape Photography Heaven"

As a landscape photographer it was important to find a knowledgeable and adaptable tour operator who could be flexible in understanding our needs to be at a given location for sunrise or sunset. Wisnu and his team helped us plan the perfect trip which led to some superb images being captured. When Mount Ijen was suddenly closed due to volcanic activity Wisnu was able to suggest an equally beautiful location. The flexibility to adjust the itinery was really helpful. Each guide spoke good English and were a pleasure to spend time with. We spent 2 weeks exploring Java, Bali, and even the remote island of Sumba. All perfectly executed. Excellent value for money for a private tour of just 2 people.
