Detailed 13-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Yogyakarta

First, welcome to Yogyakarta, the soul of Java! After a smooth ride from the airport, then take time to rest at your hotel. Alternatively, you can explore the area nearby. Following this, enjoy a welcome dinner later. At the dinner, you will meet your photo guide and fellow travelers. Ultimately, this will start an inspiring trip.

So, what will you photograph? You will shoot street scenes, Javanese buildings, and finally batik artists. However, please note that the artist shoot is only possible if we have enough time.

Day 2: Borobudur Sunrise & Village Life

Get up early for a sunrise photo shoot at Borobudur Temple UNESCO World Heritage Site . This is the world’s largest Buddhist building. First, photograph the morning mist. The mist slowly shows the temple towers and volcanoes far away.

Following your morning shoot, explore a nearby old village. There, you can take photos of people and real country life. To summarize the best shots, key photos will be Borobudur at dawn, rice fields, and local people. In addition, you can also shoot ox carts and market scenes.

Day 3: Prambanan Temples & Royal Heritage

Overall, for this morning, you will first explore Prambanan. Note that this is a piece that has many detailed carvings. Furthermore, following this, you will next visit the Kraton (Sultan’s Palace). Day 5: Mount Bromo Sunrise & Volcano Landscapes

Get up early for a jeep ride to the Bromo viewpoint. You will then photograph one of Indonesia’s best scenes. Specifically, you will see Mount Bromo, with Mount Semeru active behind it. After the sunrise shoot, walk down to the Sea of Sand. Finally, hike to the Bromo crater rim.

Your best photo subjects will be:

Day 6: Ijen Crater via Banyuwangi

Day 8: Lovina Dolphins & North Bali Landscapes

Before sunrise, get on a traditional boat. You will photograph wild dolphins. They will look like shadows against the morning sky. When you return, explore North Bali’s rice fields. You will also see its waterfalls and old Balinese villages.

Day 12: Sunrise at Sanur Beach & Cultural Farewell

Rise early for a sunrise shoot at Sanur Beach, capturing colorful boats and calm waters. Afterward, the rest of the day is yours to relax, to shop for souvenirs, or to enjoy a final photo review session. Later in the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 13: Departure from Bali

Immediately after breakfast, transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport. This is for your departure.
