DAY 01: MAKASSAR – RANTEPAO
Arrive in Makassar then transfer to Toraja by Fully Air-conditioned private car to Toraja Land with approximately 8 hours across the Bugis Village with their typical houses on poles along the magnificent mountain passes. Lunch will be served at Bukit Indah Restaurant in Pare-Pare, a small port situated 155 km north of Makassar. Late afternoon arrives in Toraja directly check-in at Luta Resort for accommodation. DAY 2: TORAJA TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel full day exploring Toraja Land, visiting The cliff-side stone grave with wooden effigies on the balcony at LEMO, The royal family tombs at SUAYA, The baby grave in the huge tree at KAMBIRA, and a Cultural performance at SANGALLA. Lunch local restaurant in Rantepao. visit the natural cave at LONDA and then proceed to the carving village at KETE KESU. Overnight at the hotel. (B, L)
DAY 3: TORAJA TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel. The second Full-day Excursion, visiting The most beautiful village with buffalo horns in front of their houses at PALAWAN. The Traditional cotton weaving village at SA’DAN, The ancient megalithic stone at BORI, proceed to SESEAN mount to view the large rice-field terrace at BATUTUMONGA Lunch will be served on this spot. continue to visit the boulder grave at LOKOMATA From TIKALA village take a drive to visit Pangli, the stone statue of the dead man. Bori, the existence of a megalithic grave. Parinding, the big wooden grave “wrong” and cave. Singki, the horse Grave in the high position. Siguntu, the traditional village, and rice barn.Back to hotel for overnight. (B, L)
DAY 4: TORAJA – SENGKANG
Drive to Sengkang, a small city to the south of Rantepao. We will need approximately 6 hours drive. Sengkang is a cool mountainous city in the hinterland of South Sulawesi, about 4 hour’s drive from Makassar. Not too far from the small city, is a small preserved lake with various kinds of birds and floating houses. we will paddle the dugout canoe to reach the center of the lake and pay a visit to the local people’s dwelling. Overnight in Sengkang (Hotel Ayu). (B, L)
DAY 5: SENGKANG – BIRA BEACH
Today we drive you to the beautiful Bira beach where you can enjoy some relaxation, swim on the beach, and else for about 6 hours driving. Dinner on your expenses. Overnight at a beach hotel (Bara Beach Hotel). (B, L)
DAY 6: BIRA BEACH – MAKASSAR AIRPORT
After breakfast at the hotel in Bira, drive to the coast of South Sulawesi to reach Makassar to catch your flight back to your next destination. (B)
