Awesome Things to do in Nusa Penida
East South Nusa Penida Island
1. Diamond Beach
Atuh Beach a stunning white sand beach surrounded huge cliffs and remarkable rock formations. An arch sits directly from shore while several islets string off in the distance.
2. Suwehan Beach
Suwehan Beach is even less visited destination, about half hour north of Atuh Beach. You can either reach it about half an hour from Atuh Beach or along a very steep road from further south which winds down the cliffs and is rather unsuitable for cars.
From the parking area, you just follow the concrete path and stairs until you get to the beach, which should take no more than 10 minutes on the way down. not far, but very exhausting on the way back up thanks to the stairs with huge steps.
3. Thousand Island
Firstly, you might be wondering about Thousand Island. This location is sometimes referred to as thousand islands and sometimes as Thousand Island Viewpoint so I thought I would reference both.
4. Nusa Penida Tree House
The Tree House on Nusa Penida has become something of a craze. Itβs perched up on the mountain at Thousand Island (Pulau Seribu) viewpoint near Atuh Beach
5. Teletubbies Hill
Awesome Things to do in Nusa Penida
West South Nusa Penida Island
1. Angel Billabong
Angelβs Billabong one of the magical spots .crystal clear tide pool cascades into the ocean on the east coast of Nusa Penida. Out in that ocean, Manta Rays cruise coast at leisure
2. Broken Beach
Broken Beach an incredible little cove on Nusa Penida island. The highlight of the cove and the reason is called Broken Beach is due to the archway that wraps around the bay allowing water to flow in and out from the ocean
3. The Secret Point Of Kelingking Beach
Here a great little tip for enjoying Kelingking Secret Point Beach from a unique angle
4. Tembeling Beach ( Natural Pool and Forest )
A number of traditional statues and fountains decorate this spot and are used for water ritual. You can cliff jump from a couple of ledges at this first pool but check the depth and debris first as things can change over time. Head down a bit further and you will reach the second pool. This one is a bit more of a jacuzzi and I actually liked it better. From here you can also keep an eye on the beach. If you continue the trail down you will reach Tembeling Beach. Big cliffs on either side dwarf the small patch of sand.
