Detailed 6-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Labuan Bajo – Journey to Denge

Welcome to Labuan Bajo, the start of your Flores trip.

First, meet your guide at the airport. Next, you will drive for 8 hours to Denge Village. This village is where your Wae Rebo adventure starts.

On the way, stop in Lembor to see the unique spider-web rice fields. This is a special sight in Flores. Since the drive is long, a picnic lunch will be provided.

When you arrive in Denge, check into your simple lodge. Then, relax and enjoy the peaceful village mood. Tonight, you will stay at the lodge in Denge.

Day 2: Trek to Wae Rebo – The Village Above the Clouds

Following a hearty breakfast, begin your through the rainforest to the remote village of Wae Rebo, hidden deep in the highlands. As you ascend, the rich biodiversity of Flores will surround you—from orchids to ferns and also the songs of endemic birds. Upon arrival, this UNESCO-recognized village is where you’ll find the Manggarai people and their iconic conical houses (Mbaru Niang), with each house housing multiple generations. Day 4: Komodo Adventure – Rinca Island & Kalong Island

Following breakfast, head to the harbor and then board your traditional boat for a voyage to Rinca Island, which is home to the legendary Komodo dragons. While on the island, and accompanied by a local ranger, trek through the dry savannah to spot not only dragons but also wild buffalo, macaques, deer, and finally tropical birds.

Later in the afternoon, sail to Kalong Island, where thousands of flying foxes emerge from the mangroves at sunset—a surreal and unforgettable sight. Afterward, enjoy dinner on board and then spend the night in your private boat cabin under the stars.

Day 5: Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Manta Point – Return to Labuan Bajo
