Mount Bromo Midnight
Depart from Surabaya or Malang in the late evening (around 23:00). Travel to the Bromo Midnight area by private car or minivan (approximately 3-4 hours). Arrive at the Bromo viewpoint area (Penanjakan) in the early morning hours.
Witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Bromo and the surrounding landscapes. Descend to the Sea of Sand and take a short walk or rent a horse to reach the foot of Mount Bromo. Climb the stairs to the crater rim of Mount Bromo and marvel at the otherworldly views. Return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest.
Optional activities:
- Visit the Madakaripura Waterfall, a stunning waterfall located near the Bromo area.
- Explore the Tengger Caldera and the Whispering Sands (Pasir Berbisik).
Depart from the Bromo area and return to Surabaya or Malang.
