DAY 1: PANGKALAN BUN – RIVER CRUISE – ON BOAT

Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai and board on the boat. The boat is a traditional wooden boat called “Klotok “ about12 m by 2,5 m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view te rain forest as it glides by. The guide team are includes the boatman, a cook, and an expert guide. In the afternoon observe proboscis monkey (Nasalis Larvatus ) long tail macaque ( Macaca Fascicularis ), Silver Langur and Perhap wild orangutan along the way up the river . Lunch will be provided on boat, Dinner and overnight on the boat ( B )

DAY 2 ON BOAT – PONDOK TANGGUI – CAMP LEAKEY

After breakfast board on a boat upriver and visit Pondok Tanggui see feeding time at 09 am then continue up to Camp Leakey the oldest rehabilitation centre for orphane orangutan and was established in 1971 by Dr.Birute Galdikas and Rod Brindamour. On the way, you may see wild orangutan, gibbon, wild bore, macaques, proboscis monkeys and some birds. Then walk to the feeding station around 1 km. It is the best time to see orangutan encounter and you may take a picture as much as you like. In the evening you will see fireflies around the nipa palm and enjoy your dinner with candle light on the boat. Overnight on boat ( L,B,D )
